Limitations

  • You supply the spacing. This tool does not know which plant you are growing or how large it gets in your conditions.
  • It counts a simple grid. Staggered, square-foot and intensive layouts can fit more or fewer plants.
  • Recommended spacing varies by variety and by region. Check your seed packet or your local extension service.
